Overview Webuild is delivering the design and construction of the New Women and Babies Hospital in Perth, Western Australia. Commissioned by the Western Australia Government, the project will replace the century‑old King Edward Memorial Hospital and expand healthcare services for women, children and families in the state. The role involves leading the team and delivering key packages of work for the project. Responsibilities Manage the technical risk and opportunities on the project, and lead the development of innovative initiatives or processes for trial. Oversee key areas of work, including design coordination, commercial management, planning and delivery phases. Support the Project Manager with stakeholder management or contractual requirements. Act as the Project Manager’s representative when required, attending meetings with the client and other stakeholders. Consider innovative design options, engineering solutions and value‑for‑money initiatives, reviewing their practicality prior to implementation. Prepare construction plans and programs in line with project expectations and assist with preparation of site construction budgets and monthly reports. Work with site supervisors to understand trade management and ensure productivity of direct hire and subcontractor employees. Monitor construction progress against program and budget, reporting on variances. Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering or an associated discipline. High level of commercial building knowledge across various stages of construction, or specific areas such as structure, façade or fit‑out. 5‑7 years of construction experience on major projects (≥$100M), with health experience preferred. Exceptional communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders. A collaborative approach and ability to drive project outcomes. Benefits A competitive remuneration package.
