Stirling Montessori Early Learning Centre Stirling Montessori Early Learning Centre is a welcoming, owner-operated Early Learning Centre where relationships, quality education, and children’s wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do. We are a growing centre with increasing enrolments and are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Room Leader to join our Montessori classroom team. About the Role As a Room Leader, you will play an important role in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment that supports each child’s growth and development in a Montessori environment. Key Responsibilities Creating and maintaining an inclusive, fun, safe, healthy, productive and effective learning environment Developing and maintaining positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the broader community. Ensuring all health, safety and centre policies are adhered to along with licensing, legislation & regulations. Contributing to the effective operation of the workplace by supporting colleagues, sharing ideas and information and working collaboratively in our team. Available for 4- 5 days per week. About You Minimum of 2 years' experience in a team leader role within Early Childhood Education and Care. Tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care approved by ACECQA. Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS). Current Working with Children check, First-Aid Certificate, emergency Asthma management and Anaphylaxis training. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high-quality care. Demonstrated ability to co-operatively contribute to and support a team environment and to work flexibly, both within rooms and according to the needs of the Centre. A thorough knowledge of children’s development and the ability to observe, plan, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate children’s programs. Valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain). Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certification (or willingness to obtain).
