Overview Permanent opportunity to join this small, friendly team in a payroll-focused role with additional accounts responsibilities. This is a permanent, full-time position based in the inner west of Sydney. Reporting to the Finance Manager, approximately half of your role will be to take responsibility for the end-to-end Payroll for circa 250 staff. The other half will be assisting with day-to-day accounts work. Responsibilities Weekly payroll for approx. 250 staff Prepare and lodge payroll taxes (PAYG) withholding tax and superannuation contributions Assist in the integration and implementation of new payroll systems/upgrades Deal with all payroll-related inquiries Month-end reconciliations Ad hoc tasks as required Qualifications Prior experience as a Payroll Officer Ability to work in a developing environment, implementing new processes and procedures Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise across a business at all levels Strong understanding of payroll legislation, experience and ability translating EAs, and excellent attention to detail Employment details Seniority level: Associate Employment type: Full-time Job function: Accounting/Auditing Industries: Staffing and Recruiting If this sounds like you, please apply below to send your CV through. #J-18808-Ljbffr
