The company specialises in manufacturing and supplying drive train components, precision valve and pump internal components, with a particular focus on precision shafts up to 4 meters in length. Position: We have an exciting opportunity for a precision centre lathe turner to join our Precision Pump Shaft Cell at our Liverpool site. The role will involve working from precision drawings to roughout and finish turn shafts up to 4m in length from raw bar stock and forgings of various grades of steel, stainless steel, and alloy steels on a centre lathe. Requirements: Essential candidate requirements: NVQ 3 or equivalent Previous experience in using steadies and grinding precision pump shafts up to 4.0m in length.
