We are seeking a strategic and experienced Supply Chain Industrial Lead to drive the development and execution of supplier qualification programs aligned with the AUKUS partnership and Submarine Industrial Strategy. Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of the Virginia Class Sustainment supplier qualification strategy in alignment with strategic goals. Develop and maintain integrated planning frameworks to prioritise and govern Defence Industry Vendor Qualification initiatives. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with business and national objectives. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in supplier qualification. Lead supplier development and qualification initiatives to support strategic objectives. Manage supplier expectations and foster strong, productive relationships. Lead and mentor a small high-performing team. Develop and deliver clear reports, insights, and communications to stakeholders. Drive planning, prioritisation, and continuous improvement across supply chain activities. About you You are a strategic and experienced supply chain leader with strong technical, commercial and stakeholder engagement capabilities. You excel in complex environments and are confident influencing at senior levels. To succeed in this role, you will bring: Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Commerce, or a related field. Minimum 08 years’ experience in a senior supply chain, procurement, engineering, quality, industrial capability or related role. Strong understanding of the Australian defence industry and relevant government initiatives. Proven ability to lead diverse, high-performing teams in complex environments. Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, supplier qualification, and risk management. Experience establishing and maintaining integrated planning frameworks for prioritisation and governance. Strong ability to coordinate across internal and external stakeholders to achieve aligned outcomes. Sound knowledge of industry standards and best practices in supplier qualification and compliance. Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and leadership skills. Strong report writing and analytical capability. Eligibility This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
