Position Overview The Sr. Associate, Mechatronics Design Engineering is primarily responsible for designing, testing, and optimizing mechatronic systems by integrating mechanical, electrical, and software components. You will analyze data, refine control algorithms, and support automation and intelligent systems development. Responsibilities Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot system performance issues Ensure compliance with technical and regulatory standards, including GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Maintain accurate and complete documentation and ensure rigorous quality control Complete all required training and meet individual job requirements to contribute to overall organizational compliance Commit to continuous improvement in operations Experience & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or a related field (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field). MTO (small to medium) experience in the optical industry is ideal but not essential. 5 years’ experience in designing high‑precision, automated production equipment. Must have hands‑on building experience. Proficient in SolidWorks (must have) and PDM (preferred); GD&T and engineering drawing competency. Accountability and ownership up to and including post transfer. Background in Automation Engineers, Industrial Automation Engineers or Mechatronics is highly beneficial.
