In addition to what’s mentioned above, you will: Provide advice and support on drafting of commercial contracts and other legal documents across satellite operations; Support both sales and procurement functions on high-value, complex agreements; Develop and grow relationships with the APAC legal team; Cover regulatory updates and flag material regulation changes that can affect the business, including within a specialised satellite and telecommunications framework; Assist on strategic growth projects and investments; Support on dispute resolution and litigation matters; and Manage external legal counsel. What type of person will be successful? Admitted as a solicitor in Australia; Around 12–15+ years PQE in corporate and commercial law; Experience across complex commercial contracting, procurement and/or disputes; Experience in telecommunications, infrastructure or regulated industries is beneficial; Satellite or space law experience is advantageous but not required; A willingness to operate autonomously and take ownership of complex legal matters; Excellent verbal communication skills with all levels of stakeholders; Commercial mindset and a drive to deliver on high standards; and A willingness to work hard and take on new challenges within the legal team.
