Compensation: AUD 180,000 - AUD 200,000 per year Job Details Location: Melbourne Team: Business Systems & Security Reporting to: Head of Business Systems & Security Responsibilities Influencing without Hierarchy: Work across our tech stack (Java, Go, React, TypeScript, etc.) and across the organization to ensure security is baked into the SDLC from day one. The Helpful Expert: Be the point of contact for developers, run threat models for new features and coach them on secure code. Modern Cloud Security: Own securing our global SaaS offerings, primarily on Google Cloud Platform with exposure to AWS, in partnership with the DevSecOps team. Technical Compliance: Collaborate with the Legal team to meet ISO 27001 and other standards, building technical controls that realize those standards. Scaling the Practice: Select and tune the right mix of SAST, DAST, and SCA tools to keep pipelines fast and code safe. Qualifications Deep Technical Roots: Experience in information security with the ability to read and review code. The "Uplift" Mindset: Measure success by how much more secure the engineering teams become through your guidance. Cloud Fluency: Strong understanding of GCP or AWS, and securing containerised workloads at scale.
