Please note, you must be an Australian Citizen to obtain the required Baseline Security Clearance for this role. Day‑to‑day as a Mental Health Registered Nurse No two days are the same. You'll spend most of your time consulting with Defence members and providing treatment for a range of mental health injuries. Mental health is a growing priority across the Defence Force, and your role is central to ensuring members get the support they need. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll take part in case‑management conferences to develop and review treatment plans, assess risk, and tailor care to individual needs. You'll also contribute to regular team meetings, collaborate with other practitioners in the clinic, and be involved in monitoring caseloads to ensure continuity of care.
