As a Principal Structural Engineer based in Newcastle, you will lead multidisciplinary projects, mentor junior engineers, and drive local market growth. Responsibilities Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers. Ensure all project deliverables meet high standards of quality and industry regulations. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, architects and clients to develop innovative and cost‑effective solutions. Drive local team culture of creativity and innovation, supporting the development of team members. Oversee structural engineering projects across Industrial, Energy and Water markets. Qualifications Chartered Professional Engineer with a bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering. Significant demonstrated experience in heavy industrial, water or energy structures. Experience on brownfield industrial projects and/or structural asset‑management roles. Highly organised with outstanding technical and communication skills. Proven ability to lead as a Principal, mentor others and drive successful project outcomes. Commitment to continuous learning, professional development and career progression.
