Assistant Director Contract Operations – The successful applicant will contribute to the achievement of the Contract Management & Procurement Directorate goals by providing leadership and participation in policy making, strategic planning, business/operational planning, standards development, service improvements and process improvements; will provide leadership and operations management, performance management and monitoring the status of delivery of contracted services, delivered to the South Metropolitan Health Services (SMHS). Responsibilities Lead and participate in policy making, strategic planning, and operational planning for contract management and procurement. Organization context Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine. Fremantle Hospital (FH) is a 300-bed specialist hospital focused on high-quality aged care, mental health, secondary rehabilitation, planned surgeries and medical services. SMHS delivers hospital and health services across a catchment area of more than 3300 square kilometres in the southern part of Perth.
