Responsibilities Work under the delegation and supervision of a Registered Nurse Provide assistance with a variety of patient care activities Contribute to the delivery of safe, effective and person‑centered care Gain valuable experience in acute medical and surgical ward settings Eligibility & Availability Be currently enrolled in a university course leading to registration as a Registered Nurse or as a dual Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife Complete your final year of studies in 2027 Be available to work a minimum of one shift per week Be able to work rotating AM and PM shifts Be able to accommodate your work hours around clinical placement commitments Registered to work July 2026, October 2026, January 2027, April 2027 Flexible rotating rosters will be available to support your academic and clinical schedules. While there is potential for the fixed‑term contract to be extended, applicants who are not offered an extension may continue their employment on an ongoing casual basis, provided they remain enrolled in a Nursing or Midwifery university program.
