POSITION DESCRIPTION Full-Time Metal Welder and Fabricator The Offer •Full-time hours Monday to Friday(38hours) • Salary-$77000 to 87000 per year (plus Superannuation) •A friendly work environment •An immediate start •Competitive salary and benefits package To Be Successful •2-3 years of experience •Experienced with the fabrication and welding of steel, stainless steel, and aluminium. •Maintain safe work practices. •Cert 4 or higher in related field or Min 3years of exp in related field. Main Duties •Interpret technical drawings to understand the work/job. •Perform welding duties using TIG and MIG welders. •Fabricate metal components according to layouts, engineering drawings, work orders, or verbal instructions. •Set up and lay out work using jigs/fixtures or hand layouts. •Inspect and correct welds as necessary to meet product specifications. •Comply with WH&S regulations and procedures and company procedures. •Finishing the product by cleaning, grinding, filling, and polishing.
