Site Supervisor – Residential At Centina, we don’t just build structures – we’re building the future. Since 2007, we have delivered commercial, industrial, and residential projects by working in partnership with our clients and project teams, guided by our values of trust, quality, honesty, and craft. As a Residential Site Supervisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality residential projects. You’ll be responsible for leading on-site operations from start to finish, ensuring safety, environmental compliance, quality, cost control, and program targets are met. Key to your role will be establishing and managing safety systems, site inductions, and environmental controls; driving quality through Inspection Test Plans and defect minimisation; and managing costs by ensuring subcontractor accountability and efficient use of resources. You’ll coordinate short-term and contract programs, liaise closely with subcontractors and suppliers, and report progress against milestones to keep projects on track. You’ll also foster a positive, collaborative site culture by engaging openly with workers, mentoring less experienced staff, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-driven leader who takes pride in delivering projects to the highest standards, on time and defect-free. Culture Live Centina’s values: trust, honesty, quality, craft. Mentor and support less experienced staff. Safety & Environment Set up safety/environment systems, WHSP, EMP, and Site Management Plan before works start. Complete risk assessments, site inductions, SWMS sign-offs, and establish emergency plans. Maintain environmental controls, housekeeping, and amenities; record man hours daily. Conduct fortnightly site inspections, close corrective actions promptly, and log incidents in Procore. Manage Safework SA visits, MSDS compliance, public complaints, and plant pre-starts. Keep open communication with workers on safety and environment. Quality Support PM in establishing Quality Plan and ITPs; ensure inspections and sign-offs align with works. Record inspections, manage NCNs with root cause analysis, and drive subcontractor accountability. Minimise defects by enforcing ITPs; handover with no major or latent defects. Manage maintenance period to close issues quickly. Cost Prevent cost leakage post-trade letting; eliminate subcontractor variations by enforcing scope. Align invoicing with completed, defect-free works. Minimise re-orders, theft, and warehouse losses. Control preliminaries spend: labour, fencing, toilets, bins, scaffold, and plant hire. Program Review/update contract program; prepare 4-week lookaheads and share with subcontractors. Report milestones, raise risks early, and keep EOT register up to date. Coordinate procurement with Contract Administrator. Ensure defect-free completion within program timeframes.
