B Psychology is a growing, relationally oriented private practice in Ringwood East seeking psychologists who value thoughtful, reflective, and evidence-based practice. We are grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens in the context of relationships — between therapist and client, within families, couples, friendships, and broader systems. While our foundations emphasise relational, process-oriented, and integrative thinking, we actively encourage clinicians to develop and integrate their own therapeutic orientation. We value diversity in clinical practice styles and aim to create a culture of shared reflection, formulation, curiosity, and professional growth. Models such as Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) and other integrative approaches inform our framework. Role Description As an Independent Psychologist Contractor at B Psychology, you will play an important role in providing high-quality, evidence-based psychological care to individuals, couples, families, and diverse client presentations. This independent contractor position offers the opportunity to enjoy the autonomy of private practice while benefiting from the support, resources, and reputation of an established, values-driven, and relationally oriented psychology practice. What You'll Be Doing Conduct psychological assessments and develop biopsychosocial formulations to guide treatment planning. Provide psychological services to clients across a range of presentations and age groups. Deliver evidence-based interventions informed by approaches such as CAT, psychodynamic/relational therapies, ACT, CBT, Schema Therapy, DBT, and mindfulness‑based approaches. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including General Practitioners, Psychiatrists, Social Workers, and allied health professionals, to support holistic client care. Maintain clear and professional clinical documentation and correspondence. Engage in regular supervision and professional development, supported through our supervision contribution program. Uphold APS and AHPRA ethical and professional standards while delivering compassionate, client‑centred care. What We're Looking For Current general registration with AHPRA. Experience conducting psychological assessments and evidence‑based interventions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and work collaboratively with clients and colleagues. Commitment to ongoing professional development and high standards of clinical practice. Interest in reflective, relational, and formulation‑driven practice. Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment. What We Offer At B Psychology, we aim to create a professional environment where clinicians feel both autonomous and supported — a place where they can deepen their practice, continue developing their skills, and grow sustainably over time. Supervision Support Contribution – financial contribution toward supervision Technology Support Contribution – financial contribution toward digital tools and technology Client referrals – consistent referrals from established GP, community, and professional networks. Flexibility – set your own hours within practice availability. Autonomy with support – remain an independent contractor while accessing branding, administrative systems, and operational support. Professional growth – ongoing opportunities to expand your skills, interests, and long-term career direction. We particularly value psychologists who are reflective, relational, curious, and committed to thoughtful, ethical, and growth‑oriented practice. #J-18808-Ljbffr
