Full‑time, ongoing position at Hawthorn campus HEW 8 salary + 17% super About The Role The Manager, Student Insights reports to the Director, Student Experience and leads coordination, reporting and continuous improvement activities that support the University’s student experience priorities. The role works across the Student Experience portfolio and the broader University to strengthen the accessibility, awareness and effectiveness of student support services and initiatives through data‑informed planning, stakeholder engagement and governance coordination. The position provides both strategic and operational support to the Director, Student Experience and portfolio leaders by translating student insights, institutional priorities and external requirements into targeted initiatives, communications, reporting and service improvement activities. The role also leads portfolio‑level reporting, committee coordination and briefing preparation to ensure timely, accurate and evidence‑based information supports decision‑making, compliance and continuous improvement. Working collaboratively across the University, the Manager, Student Insights plays a key role in connecting service areas, academic units and external partners to support a coordinated and student‑centred approach to service delivery. The position drives initiatives that improve student awareness and uptake of support services, strengthen stakeholder engagement and capability, and support the delivery of inclusive, accessible and high‑quality student experiences across domestic and transnational education environments. About You Demonstrated experience and understanding of the Higher Education sector Proven ability to design and deliver promotional campaigns that drive awareness and uptake of services across multiple channels Strong analytical capability: ability to interpret service data, and translate insights into practical actions, and evaluate impact Experience preparing high‑quality reports, briefs and committee papers, including options analysis and recommendations Qualifications Relevant tertiary qualification in a related field (e.g., education, marketing, finance, data management, communications, business, analytics) and/or equivalent relevant experience.
