We are now seeking an experienced and motivated Process Architect to join our growing Australia based team. In this role, you will play a critical part in the planning, design and delivery of highly regulated, technically complex facilities. You’ll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and industry leaders, influencing design decisions from concept through execution while developing your career within a supportive, forward‑thinking, and people‑focused organisation. What You’ll Do Assess the requirements of a project, break projects into tasks, and work with Project Managers to determine the scope of work, budget, and staffing. Write the scope of work for architectural design based on preliminary review and meetings with the client. Participate in proposal presentations. Work with code officials and other design professionals when an interpretation or exception to building codes. Assign and review the work of the project design team. Check the progress of work and alert the Project Manager about scope changes or requests for additional services. Reviews contractor applications for payments and has a thorough understanding of the construction process. Coordinates all aspects of project document completion within the company and externally with clients and other design professionals. Proficient written and oral communication skills. Prepare construction budgets based on experience and scope of project. Assists in the education and development of design staff and acts as a resource for design questions. Qualifications & Requirements Substantial architectural design experience in the Life Sciences (Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Cell & Gene Therapy, Laboratories, Plasma Processing) industries. Experience with project scope development, programming, conceptual design, pharmaceutical regulatory compliance, material and personnel flow development, material and system evaluation, detail design, and construction administration. Degree educated in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering from an accredited University. Experience in Facility Master Planning. The ability to interpret a building program and generate varied design concepts. Knowledge of applicable building codes. Autodesk Revit drawing experience. An openness to travel (within Australia, New Zealand and overseas when required).
