An outstanding opportunity exists for a commercially astute 'Head of' / Procurement Director to establish the global procurement function of this PE-backed high‑growth global consumer products business. Reporting to the CFO, you will own supplier strategy, sourcing, procurement governance, working capital optimisation and supplier performance across a complex international supply network. Global Consumer Products Business High Impact Role, Partnering The ELT Newly Created Role / Some APAC Travel This is a broad end‑to‑end position with genuine influence across margin improvement, cost optimisation and procurement transformation. The business designs, manufactures and distributes a number of high‑quality products globally. The ability to work with offshore manufacturers and build valued supplier relationships is critical. Key Responsibilities Lead global supplier relationships, sourcing strategy and commercial negotiations Drive cost reduction, margin improvement and total landed cost optimisation Improve payment terms, procurement governance and working capital outcomes Establish supplier performance frameworks and compliance standards Lead procurement transformation and capability uplift initiatives Partner cross‑functionally across Finance, Commercial, Product and Supply Chain About You You are a commercially strong procurement leader with experience operating in complex global supply environments. Proven experience leading procurement / sourcing functions. Strong commercial negotiation and supplier management capability Experience across international sourcing, ideally Asia Strong understanding of cost of supply, contracts and working capital A pragmatic, hands‑on leadership style with executive presence Experience within consumer products, retail, manufacturing or distribution environments highly regarded This role will suit an ambitious leader who enjoys balancing strategic influence with operational execution and wants to make a genuine impact in a rapidly growing international business.
