Overview About the work unit / facility Cardiac Catheter Laboratory / Surgical Service Group / Townsville University Hospital About your opportunity The Cardiac Catheter Laboratory (CCL) and Day Procedure Unit (DPU) supports the cardiac services within the Townsville Hospital to perform Interventional and Diagnostic Angiography, Electro Physiology Studies and Pacemaker and Defibrillator insertion, TAVI and structural cases on urgent and elective cases. We also assist with diagnostic imaging such as Trans-Oesophageal Echocardiogram and Dobutamine Stress testing. (Nurse Grade 5) 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available Requirements: Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory. Nursing: Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate. Highly Desirable: Experience In Cardiac Catheter Lab. Highly Desirable: Experience in Cardiac Nursing / Coronary Care Nursing / Critical Care Nursing.
