Capacity to teach Legal Studies and/or Business Studies is highly desirable. About the Role You will inspire students by delivering engaging, challenging and conceptually rich Accounting learning experiences. Working within a supportive faculty, you will contribute to a dynamic curriculum that encourages analytical thinking, financial literacy and real-world application; preference will be given to teachers with a strong background in Accounting, as well as the ability to teach Legal Studies and/or Business Studies. Key Responsibilities Planning and delivering curriculum-aligned lessons that engage students and foster engaging learning practices Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and wellbeing Assessing and reporting on student progress in line with school policies Contributing to faculty planning, assessment design, and resource sharing Participating in pastoral care and co-curricular activities as appropriate About You You are an enthusiastic and committed Accounting educator who brings energy, curiosity and a student‑centred approach to the classroom. You build strong relationships, communicate clearly and create learning experiences that spark interest, persistence and discovery. You are collaborative by nature and committed to refining your practice through reflection, feedback and professional learning. You will bring A genuine passion for teaching Accounting and a desirable ability to teach Legal Studies and/or Business Studies. Strong communication skills and the ability to connect positively with young people. An engaging, innovative and reflective teaching style that supports diverse learners. Confidence using data and assessment to inform teaching practice. A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to faculty planning and shared initiatives. Readiness to participate in co‑curricular activities and broader school life. Relevant tertiary qualifications and teacher registration (or eligibility) in South Australia.
