Key Responsibilities Conducting thorough patient consultations, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnosis of illnesses Developing and implementing treatment plans for patients, including prescribing medications and referrals to specialists Providing preventative care and health education to patients Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients Participating in continuing education and professional development activities to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge Requirements Medical degree from an accredited institution Ability to gain registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Proven experience as a General Practitioner, preferably in a regional or rural setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compassionate and patient-focused approach to healthcare Willingness to participate in after-hours and on-call duties as required You will receiveongoing support and training, and the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of patients in regional Queensland.
