Indoor Environment Specialist In this newly created role, you will identify, evaluate, and control health hazards for clients including insurers, adjusters and third parties on insurance related matters. You will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver high‑quality assessments and reports that support safe work environments. Key Responsibilities Conduct hygiene assessments including air monitoring, NATA accredited sampling and hazardous materials inspections (e.g., asbestos, methamphetamine, moisture & mould). Prepare detailed technical reports and recommendations. Provide expert advice on exposure control strategies and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop tailored solutions and ensure an expediated process. Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Hygiene, indoor environment, asbestos, building sciences or a related field. Membership to any of the following: American Council of Accredited Certification, CMI – Certified Microbial Investigator, CMC Certified Microbial Consultant, Certified Indoor Environmental Consultant (CIEC). Experience in field‑based hygiene assessments, preferably both domestic and commercial properties. Strong communication and report‑writing skills. Motivated to promote this new service line with key stakeholders such as adjusters and clients. Background Checks Successful candidates will be required to complete reference checks, mandatory background checks including a police check and work rights verification.
