Reporting to the Financial Controller – Business Partnering, you will work collaboratively across the CFO team to contribute to strategy development and execution, while ensuring strong financial stewardship across RAC’s businesses and support functions. In this role, you will partner closely with stakeholders to provide insightful financial guidance, support decision‑making, and drive performance improvements aligned with organisational objectives. Responsibilities Fostering strong relationships across the CFO function, offering insights for growth and profitability. Collaborate with business leaders to streamline financial processes and services. Develop strategies to enhance financial services and support, focusing on efficiency and compliance. Provide expert analysis, advice, and guidance to business leaders, ensuring alignment with RAC's purpose and mission. Partner with leaders to ensure efficient delivery of financial processes, tools, and services to meet business needs within agreed service level and costs. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes. Support key strategic projects with financial expertise to facilitate successful outcomes. Identify and capitalise on profitable growth opportunities. Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in financial or business‑related discipline are mandatory. Membership of relevant industry bodies (ACA, CPA) is required. Extensive knowledge and application of accounting standards and compliance obligations. Strong accounting, commercial and analytical skills. Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills. Passion for enhancing financial performance and driving organisational success.
