The Role This position is critical to ensuring reliable, secure, and high‑performance connectivity across all TLC sites, supporting both clinical and corporate operations. You will work closely with IT colleagues, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver resilient network and security solutions in a complex healthcare environment. Your Key Responsibilities Designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure across multiple sites Configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, wireless solutions, VPNs, and perimeter security Monitoring network performance and responding to incidents, outages, and service degradations Implementing network security best practices, including segmentation, access control, and intrusion prevention Managing next-generation firewalls, endpoint security tools, and secure remote access solutions Supporting cybersecurity initiatives, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and patch management Monitoring security logs, identifying threats, and responding to security incidents promptly Supporting disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives Collaborating with cloud and software teams to secure SaaS platforms, integrations, and access controls Enforcing MFA, managing SaaS access rights, and ensuring data protection in transit and at rest Conducting regular security reviews of SaaS vendors and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards Maintaining accurate technical documentation and network diagrams About You You are a technically strong Network Engineer who thrives in complex environments and takes pride in delivering secure, high‑availability systems. You combine strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive, service‑focused mindset. Skills and Qualifications A degree in Information Technology or a related discipline Industry certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or similar Hands‑on experience with enterprise networking equipment and security platforms Strong understanding of network security principles and cybersecurity frameworks Experience supporting SaaS platforms and cloud‑integrated environments Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills Clear communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders A commitment to delivering reliable, secure services in a healthcare environment Additional Details This role is based at TLC Healthcare’s main office Occasional travel to other TLC sites may be required Flexible working hours and on‑call support may be required to ensure operational continuity Why Join TLC?
