A South Hedland practice is seeking an experienced general practitioner with Ahpra general registration who is able to work in a full time, part time or locum capacity. South Hedland is a suburb of the Town of Port Hedland, the second largest town in the Pilbara region located 1800km north of Perth. The town has an urban population of 16,000+ (2021) from diverse cultural backgrounds, the area is rich in indigenous culture, pioneering history and wildlife. The Practice The organisation is proudly Indigenous owned and clinician run, with doctors managing doctors rather than going through human resources, corporate administrators or locum agencies. They firmly believe in giving back to the community and their general practice arm was set up in the view of providing services to the community whilst ensuring that general practitioners are well remunerated. Telehealth is available. Requirements General practice fellowship Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency Package $250,000 to $350,000 (excluding superannuation) 100% of billings for the first 6 weeks of work for a full time or part time capacity or an 80 percent/20 percent split as a locum.
