We are now seeking a Quality & Compliance Team Lead to oversee Proveda’s quality, compliance, governance and policy frameworks — ensuring our services remain safe, person-centred, effective and consistently aligned with best practice and regulatory requirements. About the Role As the Quality & Compliance Team Lead, you will drive operational quality across the organisation and foster a culture where safety, risk awareness, and continuous improvement are embedded in everyday practice. Reporting to the Executive Manager, Service and Quality, this role will: Coordinate quality, compliance, governance and policy activities Oversee incident, complaint and feedback processes Drive continuous improvement and support organisational capability uplift Ensure readiness for audits, accreditation and regulatory obligations Lead and support the Quality & Policy team and other quality functions Work closely with internal stakeholders, regulators and external providers This is a dynamic role suited to someone who thrives on collaboration, systems thinking and uplifting quality frameworks that directly improve client experience. Key Responsibilities Promote a culture where quality, safety, risk and compliance are understood and valued. Develop, review and maintain organisational policies, procedures and templates. Ensure alignment with relevant standards (e.g., Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, NDIS Practice Standards, mental health and community services guidelines). Manage organisational documentation governance, and control processes. Oversee incident, near-miss and complaint reporting, investigation and resolution. Ensure statutory and mandatory reporting obligations are met. Identify trends and risks and provide regular reporting to leadership and committees. Coordinate internal/external audits, accreditation readiness and compliance processes. Maintain audit frameworks, calendars and monitoring tools. Lead continuous improvement initiatives based on data, feedback and evidence. Monitor and report on systemic issues, trends and improvement opportunities. Promote strong application of the Quality Management System across teams. About You You are a quality and compliance specialist with strong experience in aged care, disability, community services, mental health or similar sectors. You enjoy building capability, maintaining high standards and ensuring safe, effective, person-centred services. Demonstrated experience in quality, risk, compliance, auditing or policy development. Proven capability in leading or coordinating quality functions. Strong research, analysis and document‑writing skills. Experience in incident/complaint management, audit coordination and continuous improvement. High‑level communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Office, client management systems such as TLW). Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently. Tertiary qualifications in health, human services, social sciences, policy, compliance or similar. Experience in regulatory reporting frameworks (Aged Care, NDIS, mental health).
