We are seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join a leading aged care organisation on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional with strong aged care industry knowledge to make a meaningful contribution to an organisation dedicated to the wellbeing of its residents and community. You will play a key role in the day-to-day financial operations of the organisation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a high standard of financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Manage and process Refundable Accommodation Deposits (RADs) and Daily Accommodation Payments (DAPs) in accordance with regulatory requirements Maintain accurate resident billing, receipting, and accounts receivable functions Assist with month-end close processes and financial reporting Liaise with residents, families, and internal stakeholders regarding financial matters Ensure compliance with aged care funding and fee frameworks Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports Assist with audits and respond to internal and external queries Contribute to process improvements and financial system enhancements About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: Demonstrated experience working in the aged care sector — this is essential Strong working knowledge of RADs and DAPs, including the regulatory framework governing accommodation payments Relevant qualification in accounting, finance, or business (Certificate IV, Diploma, or Degree level) Proficiency in aged care billing systems and financial software High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and compliance Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial matters to non-finance stakeholders Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment What’s on Offer Competitive salary of up to $82,000 + superannuation Permanent, full-time role offering long-term stability Supportive team environment with strong leadership Meaningful work in a purpose-driven organisation Opportunities for professional development and career growth How to Apply If you have aged care finance experience and are ready to take on a rewarding permanent opportunity, we’d love to hear from you.
