About the Role Provide HSE support to Tropicanaworking closely with leaders and crews to enable safe,efficientand compliant delivery. Responsibilities Ensure effective implementation and compliance with the systems and processes outlined in the HSEQ Management Plan Liaising with our clients in relation to WHS activities and site-based lead and lag indicators Assisting with accident/incident investigations as required Facilitating risk assessments to support operations and their ability to control and reduce risks across our activities Completing monthly safety reporting and daily inputs into the company’s event management system Maintain accurate records and contribute to continuous improvement What You’ll Bring Previous surface mining experience in a similar role, accompanied by a tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety Working knowledge of the Mines Safety Inspection Act (WA) Experience in HSEQ management systems and the ability to implement HSEQ Management Plan deliverables Qualification in incident investigation methodology, such as ICAM Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and engagement skills High level of computer literacy A ‘can-do’ attitude with a strong desire to succeed in the role and a passion for health, safety, environment, and quality Senior First Aid Certificate Competitive benefits package including:Paid Parental Leave for primary carers Retail discounts (including homewares, outdoor gear, fuel and groceries) Novated leases Comprehensive wellbeing program Why Macmahon?
