Investment Manager, Renewable Energy Transactions Australia The Company A leading international renewable energy developer with an active and growing Australian portfolio is seeking an Investment Manager to join its Transactions team. The business develops, constructs, and manages utility-scale wind, solar, hybrid, and BESS projects. Reporting to the Transactions Director, this role sits at the centre of investment evaluation and deal execution across the Australian portfolio. You will carry independent responsibility for select workstreams and work across the full transaction lifecycle, from origination and business case development through to financial close. Responsibilities Managing investment analysis and business case evaluation for projects at all stages, from development through to acquisition, sale, or investment. Building and running project financial models; performing sensitivity analysis and deriving key valuation metrics including IRR, NPV, and return multiples. Supporting equity and debt raising processes and participating in investor meetings and materials preparation. Contributing to budget and investment memos and Board approval submissions. Evaluating new business opportunities including greenfield development and M&A. Coordinating progress reporting on investment assets and pipeline. Mentoring a Senior Transaction Associate. Requirements 7 to 10 years of relevant experience across M&A, investment banking, transaction services, corporate finance, private equity, or valuation. Strong financial modelling capability across operating and development assets. Renewables or broader infrastructure project finance experience is valued. Familiarity with the Australian energy market and AEMO landscape is advantageous. Professional qualifications (CA, CFA) or MBA are desirable but not essential. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and communicate analysis effectively to senior stakeholders. This is a role for someone who is analytically strong, commercially minded, and comfortable operating in a high-output, entrepreneurial environment.
