Responsibilities Assisting with quarry laboratory operations based at Cedar Creek and possible SEQ mobile sites. Undertaking compliance testing for samples of aggregate, soils, road base, and CTB material. Ensuring laboratory and production facility compliance with NATA, and Department of Main Roads Construction Materials Testing Supplier Registration System. Ensuring compliance with all statutory health, safety, and environmental requirements. Assisting with the design and performance of laboratory mix designs/blends & quarry R&D to the required specifications. Direct responsibility for source rock schedules for all materials, and Lot Control / Lot Management. Assisting Laboratory Foreman and Lab. Supervisor whilst ensuring all tests are reported through our reporting tool Qestlab effectively. Qualifications Knowledge of laboratory and production facility calibration requirements. Quarry and soils testing laboratory experience, techniques, and accreditation (advantageous). Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and Questlab. Demonstrated commitment to collaborative, ethical behaviour in a client-facing environment and a keen eye for detail. Demonstrated skills in research, evaluation, interpretation and delivery of data. Basic knowledge in construction laboratories and attainment of NATA signatory status for test methods. #J-18808-Ljbffr
