New customer development opportunities abound, while major accounts offer ongoing sales growth potential for a focused sales hunter. Your territory is all of NSW plus the ACT. The role gives you the opportunity to build on a successful 2-3 years’ sales career to date, broadening your experience and growing your responsibilities as you develop in the position. Ideally you have experience effectively selling product ranges to retailers either through buyers and/or direct into store. Responsibilities and Qualifications A fearless cold calling mentality with the ability to access decision makers, build rapport quicklyand develop sales using sound product knowledge and excellent communication skills; Proven ability to develop and implement in a reasonably autonomous manner, effective new business development call plans and account management call cycles; Sound negotiation and commercial relationship development and management skills that result in demonstrable conversion of sales opportunities to profitable income streams; Strong personal energy and drive for sales success; The ability to build a sales pipeline needed to achieve/exceed agreed business objectives and targets; Ideally, a tertiary business qualification. About the role The role offers a focused, developing BDM the opportunity to lay a strong career foundation. Remuneration The competitive remuneration package comprises an attractive base salary (negotiable depending on experience); statutory superannuation; a car allowance plus fuel card and payment of business related tolls and parking expenses; and laptop and mobile phone. A performance based incentive scheme will be available on completion of the 6 month probationary period.
