Growth Manager - New South Wales (Municipal Water) Location New South Wales, Australia About the Role We are seeking a Growth Manager to lead business development activities across municipal water and wastewater projects in New South Wales. This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and converting opportunities across public utilities, local councils, and delivery partners, supporting long‑term framework positions and major capital programs. This is a senior, outward‑facing role focused on building trusted relationships with decision‑makers across NSW water authorities and councils, shaping opportunities early, and positioning the business for success across design, delivery, and lifecycle services. The role suits a proven business development professional with a deep understanding of the NSW water market, capital works procurement processes, and long‑term infrastructure planning. Key Responsibilities Market Growth & Opportunity Development Own and execute the NSW growth strategy for municipal water and wastewater markets Identify and pursue opportunities across utilities, councils, and government‑owned entities Track capital works programs, AMP cycles, and longer‑term investment pipelines Position the business early in project lifecycles through proactive stakeholder engagement Client & Stakeholder Relationships Build and maintain senior relationships with NSW water utilities, local councils, and government agencies Develop strong networks with engineering consultants, constructors, alliance partners, and contractors Act as a trusted commercial partner to clients, understanding both technical and strategic drivers Bid & Capture Support Lead opportunity capture planning and go‑to‑market strategies Support bid teams during EOIs, tenders, and framework submissions Shape win strategies, value propositions, and partner selection in collaboration with internal teams Internal Collaboration Work closely with technical, delivery, and leadership teams to align market intelligence with capability Provide regular market insights on competitors, procurement trends, and client priorities Feed client intelligence into strategic planning and resource forecasting About You Proven experience in business development, growth, or client relationship roles within water, wastewater, or civil infrastructure Strong understanding of NSW municipal water markets, including procurement models and funding environments Existing relationships across NSW water utilities, councils, or delivery partners highly regarded Commercially astute with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills Comfortable operating in long‑term sales cycles and complex project environments Desirable Experience Background in engineering, infrastructure, utilities, or capital projects Experience working with Sydney Water, Hunter Water, WaterNSW, local councils, or similar entities Exposure to frameworks, alliances, D&C procurement, or program‑based delivery models #J-18808-Ljbffr
