We’re excited to open a brand-new Early Learning Centre in Campbelltown in 2026, co-located with St John’s Catholic School, and offer long day care and preschool programs for children aged 2–5 years. As the ELC Cook, you will support children’s health and wellbeing by preparing nutritious, high‑quality meals and snacks while maintaining strong food safety and hygiene standards. Working closely with the Centre Director and educators, you will help create positive mealtime experiences in a warm, inclusive environment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve meals and snacks for children aged 2–5 years. Maintain food safety, hygiene, and allergy management standards. Support the Centre Director and educators in planning and delivering mealtime activities. Manage kitchen stock, ordering, and inventory. Work independently while collaborating with a team of educators. Ensure all practices meet child safety and wellbeing requirements. What We Offer Salary packaging up to $18,550 tax‑free (pro‑rata for part‑time). 15 days paid personal leave per year (pro‑rata). 3 additional paid leave days over the Christmas shutdown period (pro‑rata). Experience preparing nutritious meals and managing kitchen operations in early childhood or related settings. Strong knowledge of food safety legislation, hygiene standards, and allergy management. Excellent organisational, communication, and time‑management skills. Ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative team.
