Job Summary Uplyft is seeking a passionate and dedicated Cook to support the health, wellbeing and development of children aged 0–5 years through planning, preparation and delivery of nutritious, culturally inclusive meals that meet all food safety and health regulations. Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver nutritious meals for children aged 0–5. Manage food ordering and meal planning within a budget. Maintain child‑safe environment and ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene practices, and Workplace Health & Safety requirements. Support children’s wellbeing through meal planning and dietary considerations. Qualifications Accredited Food Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain). Proven experience planning and preparing nutritious, balanced meals for children 0–5. Experience in food preparation and kitchen hygiene, ideally within a childcare or education setting. Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices and Workplace Health & Safety requirements. Understanding of children’s nutritional needs, dietary requirements and allergies. Commitment to maintaining a child‑safe environment and supporting children’s wellbeing. Benefits Permanent full‑time position. Based at our Cannington service.
