Role Data Engineer (Payroll Remediation) Experience 7+ years Location Melbourne Required Strong Python and SQL experience for data transformation, model development and validation. Jupyter Notebooks / GitHub for code development and management. Advanced MS Excel skills (e.g. lookups, pivot tables, formula logic, etc.). Strong understanding of data quality practices, lineage, and root cause analysis. Experience working with large datasets in payroll or related domains. Highly regarded Dashboarding and reporting (preferably Power BI ). Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g. AWS, Snowflake, etc.). Exposure to ML / AI techniques and tools, particularly for future use cases such as proactive detection of payroll compliance issues.
