About the role We are seeking a talented Finance Manager to join our team at Safetech Pty Ltd in Moe, VIC. This role is critical to ensuring financial integrity and supporting informed strategic decision-making across the business. Working closely with the Managing Director, CFO, HUB, and Group Finance & Treasury, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial insights, maintaining robust controls, and driving effective planning aligned to our business objectives. What you'll be doing Deliver end-to-end financial planning and analysis, identifying variances and recommending improvements across P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow. Monitor financial performance against budget and forecasts, providing clear, actionable insights to stakeholders. Budgeting & Forecasting Manage budgeting and forecasting processes in line with Group timelines, frameworks, and standards. Prepare accurate, realistic budgets and consolidate business inputs for management review. Project Costing & Inventory Management Support tender preparation, project costing, and margin analysis. Monitor project progress, billing accuracy, and compliance with revenue recognition policies. Oversee inventory valuation, stock ageing, and obsolescence provisioning. Treasury & Cash Management Act as custodian of local cash and execute treasury activities in accordance with Group policies. Manage working capital, cash flow forecasting, and support FX risk mitigation strategies. Reporting & Controls Prepare management accounts, statutory reports, and support internal and external audit processes. Ensure compliance with internal controls and proactively recommend process improvements. Tax Compliance Manage direct and indirect tax obligations, including BAS, IAS, and superannuation compliance. Liaise with external advisors and remain up to date with relevant tax legislation and regulatory requirements. What we're looking for Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or CA qualification preferred. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial management, ideally within a multinational or complex environment. Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards (AASB) and tax regulations. High proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel capabilities. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
